I am an innovative, client-centered and compassionate attorney, mediator, advocate and consultant. My focus is on advancing the rights of people with disabilities and others in traditionally marginalized populations. My breadth of experience in leadership positions with governmental and non-profit agencies provides me with a unique knowledge base and skill set from which to serve clients. I work at the case and systemic levels in collaboration with individuals in need of legal services, non-profits and other entities.
Areas include:
- Legal services as attorney or Guardian ad Litem on conservatorship and related matters
- Legal representation of individuals with disabilities and support for advocacy agencies and other entities in the area of Supported Decision Making (SDM)
- Legal services in the development of powers of attorney and other instruments related to decision-making
- Consultation and advocacy related to Intellectual Disabilities (ID)/Developmental Disabilities (DD), behavioral health, disability discrimination, and child welfare, with a focus on system and program design, compliance, quality improvement, and public policy
